Mayee Teaching for Segerstrom Arts Teach at Sonora Elementary School in Costa Mesa, CA
Mayee is teaching Chinese Brush Painting to 350 eager-to-learn students at Sonora Elementary School in Costa Mesa, CA. Students are in all grades from Transitional Kindergarten to 6th Grade. Classes are taught Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. What a wonderful introduction to the beauty and skills of Chinese Brush Painting!

Mayee Completes Classes at Geffin Academy at UCLA
In January, 2026, Mayee spent a super-charged day with students in mixed grades 6, 7, and 8 at Geffen Academy at UCLA in Westwood, CA. Students learned key elements about Chinese Brush Painting history, and most importantly, spent hours learning to paint!
